The South African clawed frog is a hardy freshwater specimen that is completely aquatic.
Capable of breeding throughout the year, this hardy specimen is ideal for embryology, anatomy and life cycle studies. In addition to the dry food these amphibians usually eat, they enjoy an occasional meal of crickets.
