Learning to read is fun when pictures and words are shown together. These delightful, three-piece puzzle sets have large, sturdy pieces for small hands and can be assembled in two different ways.
For beginning readers, simply have them join the three puzzle pieces together to make the charming pictures. To do this, they must look for clues. The picture starts on the left piece. When they find the middle and right pieces to finish the picture, they are ready to read the word. Only the right pieces will fit together to make 14 simple words.
If the children can read some simple words, have them work with the flip side of the game cards. The puzzle starts on the left piece, but instead of a picture, the beginning blend appears. The middle piece completes the word and the end shows a picture of the word.
