View daphnia heart rate easily with specially designed viewing chamber
Students learn how to measure blood pressure, pulse, and heart rate, and assess the effects that varying physiological conditions have on their rates, in this practical, comprehensive lab activity. All that’s needed is the equipment for measuring blood pressure, the Student Blood Pressure Set, available separately. For comparison, students also study the heart rate of Daphnia, varying the temperature and viewing the subsequent changes that take place in the ectothermic creature.
