The battery-powered TI-30 Xa is excellent for science, general math, algebra, trigonometry, and statistics. Its 1-line display shows results up to a 10-digit answer and 2-digit exponent. You can calculate basic scientific and trigonometric functions, one-variable statistics, manipulate fractions and make conversions (fractions/decimals, degrees/radians/grads, DMS/decimals/degrees and polar/rectangular conversion). It comes with a protective case and quick reference card. Requires two A76 button cell batteries.
