The Great American Balloon Car Race is a high-interest hands-on project where students build and race a light-weight balloon powered vehicle.
An extremely open-ended activity, students are given the materials they need along with some very basic instructions, then are set free to discover for themselves how to develop and construct a model that does what its suppose to do. Developed by Bruce Sherbeck.
Includes: 100 tongue depressors, 80 axles, 160 wheels, 2 pkg. of 30 straws, rubberbands, 3 pkg., of 35 balloons, 2 pkg., of 50 jumbo straws, instructions.
