This self-contained kit uses a combination of 35 mm slides, reproducible transparency masters, reference material and laboratory equipment to give students an understanding of solid waste causes, sources and management, plus case studies on solid waste pollution. The laboratory manual and equipment allow students to do tests and experiments involving incineration of packing material, CO2 cycle in nature, composting, fuel for wastes and paper recycling.
