A fun way to practice the skill of rhyming without them knowing it!
The ability to "hear" words that rhyme is an important skill that young readers need to develop. These Rhyming SNAP cards offer three fun suggestions to introduce, practice and develop this important skill. As a group or individually, students can use the cards to play SNAP, CONCENTRATION/MEMORY, or FISH.
The cards offer an illustration with the item labeled below and a card with just the word printed on it. Students need to "read" the cards as well as identify pictures to create correct matches or rhymes. Includes a set of 160 laminated cards and instructions.
