Transport your students to colonial times with the cross-curricular contents of this kit.
Using popular literature about life in the 13 Colonies and a plethora of activities and lessons, your students will improve English, language arts, reading, writing, art, math, science, and social studies skills.
All of the lessons are designed by teachers and based on the National Standards. Some are meant for individual study while others are for work in cooperative groups. The provided materials for a class of 25 students include three books - If You Lived in Colonial Times, If You Grew Up With George Washington, and Samuel's Choice; Guided Reading Comprehension Cubes; 13 Colonies Blank Map Transparency; Branches of Government Posters; Retelling Cubes; and instructions with reproducible student pages.
