Effectively introduce and reinforce beginning phonics and reading skills with these proven, tangible teaching tools. Teaching Tiles are plastic squares sized for younger hands with large letters printed on each in single, double and triple letter combinatins; variant vowels; phonographs; diagraphs; blends; and vowel pairs. Students then practive constructing words and sentences by placing the tiles next to each other in rows on the provided plastic trays. Students can create their own words or use the illustrated self-checking activity cards for added reinforcement. This hands-on approach to early reading skills is ideal for small groups, individual study or learning centers. All sets of teaching tiles can be used separately or in conjunction with one another. Each set includes a teacher's guide and sorting bin for storing tiles and cards.
