Elapsed Time Study Kit |
How long does it take you to get ready for school in the morning? What time will it be when this math lesson is over? How long does it take to travel from your house to school? These are just some of the examples of real life problems presented in this kit, designed to help students understand the concept of elapsed time. The kit includes:
• Standards-based lesson plans, for three different lessons, including one on adding and subtracting time. Each lesson includes journal prompts, to help evaluate students' understanding of each concept, and promote writing skills.
• A clock manipulative for each student.
• Reproducible student worksheets.
The kit includes enough materials for a class of 30. All materials are provided in a sturdy, plastic storage bin.
Grades 1-3.
