This kit includes four large demonstration clocks with moving hands, 30 smaller student clock manipulatives, and flash cards, to help teach younger students about time. Using real life examples of time, students will practice reading a clock (to the hour, half-hour, and quarter-hour), and learn about elapsed time, and time terminology (quarter to, half past, etc.). The standards-based lesson plan describes several activities that are aligned with NCTM standards. All materials are provided in a sturdy, plastic storage bin. Grades PreK–3.
