Kid K'NEX Activity Kit |
Appropriate for Grades Pre-K-2
We have bundled the hands-on manipulatives of the Kid K'nex along with the Very Hungry Caterpillar Book and corresponding hands-on activities. This bundle is intended to provide a cross-curricular experience for the younger students in Science, Language Arts, Math, Visual Arts and Fine Motor Skills. The teacher reads the story to the students, has the students create their own model of a caterpillar and then has the child verbally describe their model while the teacher writes down word for word what they said. Similar activities can also be extended into other classic children books.
Other activities include using the Kid Knex to sort, describe attributes, classify, compare & ordering of objects, seriation, counting & number correspondence, spatial relations, & graphing.
