Working in teams, students design and build an Artemia Hatchery. They analyze water quality and the effectiveness of their hatcheries through hatch rates and by using population sampling techniques. Having evaluated their first attempt, students can then develop a hypothesis that will improve their design. Can also be used with triops or daphnia. Developed by Alan Nakagawa. Includes: brine shrimp cysts, aquarium tubing, sea salt, valves, 4-way connecting tubes, pump, pH paper, 2 thermometers, disposable pipets, Instructions.
