AP Biology Lab #11: WARD’S Animal Behavior Lab Activity |
Both parts of this AP Biology lab, investigating pillbug environment selection and fruit fly reproduction, are included in one economical kit. Using controlled experiments and a special experiment tray developed by WARD’S, students will determine the type of environment that pillbugs prefer.
As an example of a strict behavioral pattern, reproductive behavior in fruit flies is also explored. In addition, instructions are supplied for optional experiments demonstrating habitat selection by brine shrimp.
