Plant Cell Manipulative Model (Teacher-Developed, Classroom-Tested)
Do your students have difficulty visualizing plant cell structure? Introduce, reinforce, and test students on the basic make-up of plant cells with this hands-on learning activity designed by high school biology teacher, Sharon Spencer. Using laminated cell parts fitted with Velcro®, students attach organelles to the cell sheet, creating an interactive approach to learning about structures such as chloroplasts and endoplasmic reticulum. Partial assembly is required. Includes instructions. For grades 7–10.
