PASPORT Match Graph Kit |
Match Graph is the the fun and easy way to teach your students the principles of motion. Watch students gain new insight into this vital science concept as they engage in self-directed, interactive and action-filled Match Graph activities.
PASCO's Match Graph Kit makes it easy to get started. Just plug the Motion Sensor into a computer via the USB Link and watch the DataStudio Lite starter software launch automatically. A graph of distance vs. time is instantly displayed on the computer screen, along with a pre-graphed path. Students then take turns moving their bodies or a cardboard sheet back and forth in front of the Motion Sensor in an attempt to duplicate the path on the screen. Students see the screen come alive when the Motion Sensor is turned on, tracking them as they move, and gain a deeper, more realistic understanding of motion as it relates to time.
Once students master the basic graphs, they can progress to more complex Match Graph challenges. Match Graph also calculates a score for each student. Challenge your class to find the student who can match the graph most precisely!
