Onset & Rimes Flip Book |
The Onset & Rimes Flip Book is a unique flip style book that provides children with a fun way to experiment with many letter combinations as they assemble words with onsets and rimes. It is a handy way to give your students the practice they need with making and breaking words. Printed on heavy card stock, it contains the most commonly found onsets and rimes. Tactile activity helps children remember letter patterns.
Children can flip through two separate "sections" of letters to try to assemble new words. A self-correcting word list at the back of the book provides children with the opportunity to check their work. The list of words encourages children to check their work and directs the children, "if you have made a word that is not on this list, check in the dictionary!"
