Students will use manipulatives, including counters and spinners, to solve problems that are posed in the books, including “How many bugs can be in each squadron of the bug parade?” or “Why is multiplying faster than counting?.” The kit includes standards-based lesson plans for each of the four stories. Grades 2–5.
