Multifactor Game |
Appropriate for Grades 3-7 • Challenging Multiplication and Factoring Practice In the Multifactor Game, children will be challenged with basic multiplication facts, factoring, and finding prime factors at two levels of play. The offensive and defensive strategies add interest and intrigue. To play the game, players spin each side of the double 1-9 spinner, multiply the numbers, determine if a correct product space is available, and claim the space by placing a chip on it. Players begin to earn points once they have placed at least three chips in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row. The winner is the player with the highest number of points after a pre-determined number of rounds, a certain number of spaces have been claimed, or when a time limit is reached. You decide! Using games to teach and reinforce basic skills is a highly effective way to motivate students to learn! Children can have fun and learn at the same time. Contents include: Game board, multiplication chart, spinner, factor chart, colored markers and instructions. For 2 players or teams.
