Land Hermit Crabs |
Because these marine crustaceans spend much of their time on land, they are ideal additions to any sand-based terrarium. In addition to specially formulated dry food listed below your crabs will enjoy an occasional meal of pieces of earthworm (67001-01) or any dead fish from your aquarium.
Land Hermit Crabs are fairly large and slow moving, and are therefore easy to handle. Since they eat almost anything their food requirements are easy to meet. Even though their claws give them an ominous appearance, they are docile animals and do not often pinch.
