Kinderscope 30x Advanced Introductory Microscope
Kinderscope 30x Advanced Introductory Microscope

• 30x Advanced Introductory Microscope
• Uses a "lightpipe" instead of a traditional mirror
• Designed for economy, simplicity and ruggedness
• Great "first microscope" for young scientists

The Kinderscope is an advanced introductory 30x microscope that usesa unique glass "lightpipe" instead of a mirror. This eliminates many of the lighting problems associated with the use of a mirror to reflect light to the stage aperture.

Simple to use, there are no removeable parts and only one adjustment (focus). The Kinderscope can be used in three different ways:
• As a platform microscope in the classroom or home
• As a portable hand-held microscope either indoors or in the field
• As a microprojector when used with a slide or filmstrip projector and the projection mask accessory (not included).

For liquid specimens the stage aperture has been designed to suspend a droplet through surface tension. The lightpipe collects available light from any source, condenses it, and transmits it to the specimen stage.
In most cases it is only necessary to point the Kinderscope in the general direction of the light source. Measures: 10mm height; 6 x 7.5mm base. Body is hard plastic.
