K’NEX Real Bridges Set |
Your students can build 5′ long replicas of famous bridges that represent seven different types. The types represented include a suspension, cantilever, bascale, beam, truss, arch, and cable-stayed bridge.
Model replicas allow your students to view such landmarks as the Sydney Harbor bridge, the Golden Gate bridge, and the Tower of London and then compare the differences between each bridge.
The kit comes with more than 2,200 pieces so you have enough materials to build two bridges at a time. It also includes a comprehensive teacher’s guide with key features and characteristics of each bridge type and activities and building challenges written to the National Standards in Science and Technology, as well as to NSES and ITEA Standards.
The set comes in two plastic storage totes.
