With Homonyms Bingo, students will learn the use and spelling of 59 common homonyms. Enhance learning mastery for middle grade students with TREND's new, 5x5 grid bingo games. Expanded format allows for more variety, versatility, and challenge and offers more ways for teachers to adapt games to student needs.
Students learn 59 homonyms in sentences, learn meanings of words that sound alike, and build spelling and vocabulary skills. The leader shows one card at a time (ex. I'll "buy" dinner). Players search their cards for the answer, which could be "by" or "bye". When a match is found, the player covers it with a chip. Play continues until someone has a BINGO!
Game includes: 36 Playing Cards, 59 Calling Cards, Calling Mat, Chips, Reference Sheet and Instructions.
