Students grow their own garden in a ready-to-assemble greenhouse. As in any experiment, students will develop their own hypotheses for designing a germination experiment; design their own experiment using the germination chamber; collect data; analyze data and reach conclusions; and lastly, make a class presentation. The activity provides an excellent opportunity for students to compare and contrast their results with others and forces students to have a clear understanding of their own experiment so they can convey what they did to others. The kit includes the germination chamber with tray, seeds, peat pellets, and a Teacher's Guide.
