At this low price, your students can accomplish an extensive evaluation of their environment, including six water tests and four air tests.
Water tests include: dissolved oxygen (methylene blue method); hardness (H-2 titration); chlorine (C-2 titration); phosphate (color comparison); hydrogen sulfide (paper disc comparison); and pH (using pH paper).
Air tests include: suspended particles (using the "sticky paper" method); smoke density (comparator instrument); air density of chemicals (nylon deterioration); and carbon dioxide (bromothymol blue indicator).
The test is complete and ready to use, and the tests are easy to perform, can be repeated several times and produce clearly visible results.
