Fractions with Literature Study Kit

This kit combines fraction concepts with reading comprehension, as fractions are represented in the literature. Students will use manipulatives as the two illustrated story books are read, demonstrating their knowledge of fractions. Fraction examples in the books include pizza math, four leaf clovers, fun with fruit salad, and more. The kit also includes standards based lesson plans with journal prompts to help assess student understanding, fraction tiles for use on the overhead, and wooden dominoes. All materials are provided in a sturdy plastic storage bin.
