Equal Arm Beam Balance Kit

The kit serves as a basic instrument for many different student and class experiments.

The balance features a durable one-piece molded-styrene base, with three-point suspension for self-leveling. The beam is aluminum and pivots from self-aligning agate bearings. It is die stamped so that precisely equal distances are maintained between pivot points.

Two injection molded sliding weights allow fine adjustment. With a load of 50 g per pan, the balance has an ultimate sensitivity of 10 mg.

The kit includes 1 beam balance, 1 set stamped metal weighing pans, 4 plastic riders, 2 plastic weighing vials, and 50 paper weighing cups.
