This large colorful instructional model provides an overview of primary energy resources, basic fuels, energy conversion processes, and how these resources are consumed in the United States. Provides graphic breakdowns of actual U.S. energy consumption for the years 1980 and 1990, and estimated consumption for 2000 and 2010. A three-dimensional cross-section reveals the geological features of the places where energy resources are acquired.
