These magnetic tiles invite children to practice making plurals using a variety of different plural markers. "Put the ee tile in the middle of tooth to make the plural form teeth, but just add an s to make the plural of booth". The plural spelling is printed on the back of each singular word tile, so students can check their own work. They can sort words that follow the same rules, compare similar words that use different rules, and even create their own Plural Dictionaries.
The set includes 48 two-sided magnetic word tiles, 43 plural marker tiles, Blackline Masters, and 8 number/article tiles for practicing plural forms in context: a mouse, 2 mice, etc. Teaching Notes are included with instructions and suggested activities.
