Boreal Mushroom Growth Kit

Present a comprehensive unit on fungi by growing oyster mushrooms and watching them transform sawdust into nutritious soil. Your students will learn the importance of fungi, how they reproduce, and the structure and function of all the parts. In addition, they will investigate the effects of gravity (geotropism) on mushroom growth, adpative responses, and the implication for fungal reproduction.

The kit contains one control, one treatment setup, and literature with correlations to the national science standards. Note: Includes perishable materials. Please specify delivery date. Only shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays.
