The 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser and 1.25 N.A. oil immersion 100x objective give extremely good resolution even at 1000x magnification. The rheostat dimmer control on the halogen bulb illuminator optimizes illumination. You'll appreciate the stability of this microscope when working at the highest power. Add the improved mechanical stage (55842-00 ) in place of the spring-mounted stage clips for precise positioning of the specimen slide allowing your students to see every detail.
